Human remains found off Gnat Pond Road | Crime

Police in Colbert County discovered a human skull and other bone fragments on Saturday off 6th street and Gnat Pond Road in Leighton.
Colbert County Sheriff's Department, Muscle Shoals Police Department and HEMSI Cadaver dogs responded to the scene.
The remains have been sent to forensics for testing. The identity of the body has not been determined at this time and the ABI is investigating.
