Trial date set for child abuse suspect | Crime

A Colbert County judge has set a trial date for a woman accused of leaving her two small children home alone.

Sarah Cline is charged with willful child abuse. Sheffield Police arrested her in March.

Officers say they found a 2-year-old in a car seat in front of a TV. They report finding a baby in a bedroom. Court documents state the baby had a weak pulse and both children had wet diapers.

This case will go to trial October 15th.
