Teens accused of burglarizing school, clinic

COLBERT COUNTY, AL (WAFF)- Two teens are in jail charged with breaking in Colbert County High School.

Leighton Police said an 18-year-old Maroland Haskins and a 17-year-old broke into the school as well as the Leighton Family Clinic.

Money was taken from a money box in the school and laptops were taken from the clinic.

The boys were arrested Thursday after faculty identified them from surveillance tape.  They were charged with two counts of third degree burglary and two counts of third degree theft.

The boys are students at Colbert County.

Two more suspects are wanted in connection with the burglaries.
