Woman dies in Colbert Co. house fire | News
COLBERT COUNTY, AL (WAFF)- The state fire marshal is investigating a deadly house fire in Colbert County.
The fire started sometime before 3 p.m. Sunday in the 11000 Block on Highway 72 in the Barton Community.
Several fire departments were called to the scene.
The Colbert County coroner said they found a body of a woman inside.
Another resident made it out of the house safely.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The name of the victim has not been released.
The fire makes the second deadly fire in Colbert County this weekend.
